The Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce recognizes Rich Fuxjager as our Ambassador Spotlight for August. We are very pleased to have Rich as an Ambassador and a member of the Board of Directors. He is very involved in the community and his
love of the area and its people shows. Rich relocated to Nevada County from Anchorage Alaska in 1983, he has been the proprietor of 3 local businesses and worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years. Rich truly believes in customer service and he is very good at connecting with people. He is very knowledgeable of the area and he enjoys sharing stories with everyone he meets.
Rich’s involvement in our community is above and beyond, his enthusiasm is contagious, and his stories are inspiring. Being on the Board of Directors with Hospice of the Foothills Rich continues to give back to our community by volunteering, assisting with event planning and rallying people together. He has been referred to as a “volunteer extraordinaire” because he is always willing to help and he gets things done.
Rich has assisted Maria’s general manager Gina in her business and has facilitated their involvement in the Chamber. Rich is natural at networking and when he gets involved he’s all in. Rich’s advice to business owners in Nevada County is to get involved with the Chamber of Commerce. The networking and referral opportunities that are available and the friendships you create are invaluable.
Rich enjoys spending time with his partner Kenn, connecting with people in our community and finds joy in the simple things. Rich has been an asset to our Chamber of Commerce and we thank you for your service.
