AMBASSADORS of the MONTH

Jennifer Seim, The Union & Erin Sorani, Network Realty

We are so grateful to have a Jennifer Seim as one of our Greater Grass Valley Chamber Ambassadors – and spotlight for April. Jennifer brings so much happiness and joy when she walks in the room. Always a burst of energy and excited about all the wonderful events and people in our community.

Jennifer is one of the “BEST” advertising managers at The Union (congratulations for winning “The Unions Best Of for 2018”). Her official title is: Real Estate and Mortgage Account Manager. Jennifer loves the role she plays in Nevada Counties booming Real Estate market. It’s actually made such a big impact that she purchased her first home last year and couldn’t be happier. She was able to go through the process and get real life experience which helps her understand the buyer’s side of the market. Jennifer is a real do-it-your-selfer, she told us all about her passion for home improvement, it’s brought her so much enjoyment that she could see herself dabbling in real estate in the future.

Jennifer’s background and knowledge of Nevada County is remarkable. Jennifer is originally from Southern California, however, she’s a Northern California girl! Jennifer says that everything significant in her life has happened in Nevada County. Jennifer has a background in the legal field and on a whim applied for a position at The Union three years ago and hasn’t looked back. She loves her career and is very passionate about helping real estate professionals get their messages across through advertising in print and digital. Jennifer said that digital advertising is so significant for today’s market and she can help steer her clients in this sometimes-daunting way of advertising. Jennifer is so easy to talk to – you’ll feel completely at ease because she knows her stuff!

Jennifer loves being an Ambassador with The Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce, and her connection with our community and fellow Ambassadors. In her spare time Jennifer loves to travel the world. In fact, she has a wonderful trip planned to Italy with her daughter over the summer to celebrate her daughter’s high school graduation. Let’s say it will be a delicious trip for both of them! Thank you, Jennifer, for being a wonderful addition to our Ambassador group. We are so thrilled to have you! The Greater Grass Valley Chamber is excited to spotlight in April one of our enthusiastic Ambassadors, Erin Sorani. Erin has the energy of a speeding freight train which can be felt from across the room. Since joining the Chamber in September 2018, she’s been a welcome addition to our group and especially to the Ribbon Cutting Committee.

Erin is not afraid of hard work. She’s an accomplished inline speed skater, having trained at the Olympic level. Erin transitioned from inline speed skating to road and mountain biking. To say she has a need for speed is an understatement!

Erin enjoyed a rewarding career for Cal Fire in the Paramedic field. As gratifying as it was, she had always kept herself involved in real estate as an investor and in 2015 became an agent. Erin has kept herself very busy since stepping in to her career as an agent. For her efforts, she has been the recipient of the prestigious Masters Award for three of the last four years. Being a top producer and helping others in her field comes naturally; Erin loves going the distance for her clients and herself. She welcomes challenges in her field. In fact, it’s the most rewarding part of what she does. Erin loves when she can make a dream become a reality for her clients. Erin takes on clients who think they can’t and turns that into a “yes, you can!” Her network of contacts in the real estate field has made all the difference in moving a transaction from an idea to signing escrow papers. Erin’s motto is, “Anything is possible!”

Erin is an avid lover of the outdoors. She chose to call Nevada County home almost 19 years ago. With her active lifestyle, she can literally walk out her front door and jump on her bike and be at the Yuba River or in the forest in a matter of minutes. Raising her family here just feels right. She’s passed on her love of biking to her children. Erin has a son (13) and a daughter (10) who also compete and cheer on their mom from the sidelines. In addition to raising her children, Erin also has six chickens and one dog. In her spare time, Erin loves to knit and opens her home to knit nights by teaching knitting and holds classes in town at The Artist Workshop (check schedule for details). Erin sees this as a way of weaving together life-long friendships. We feel so fortunate that Erin weaved her way into our Ambassador group and we welcome her “can do” attitude.

Erin can be contacted by calling (530) 277-8373, or by visiting the Nevada City Network Realty office at 436 Broad Street.
