Ed Meadows

The Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to spotlight Ed Meadows of Homes by Towne. Grass Valley has been his place of work for the more than two years. Ed has over 20 years of experience in the area as a real estate broker and as a finance officer. He also draws on many years in small business and retail experience. Ed and his wife Kay are long-time residents of Placer County, with two grown children and two grandchildren. Both are very active in their church and enjoy their grandchildren in their free time.

The opportunity for Ed to work with Homes by Towne as a Sales Consultant for Ridge Meadows arose and “I was thrilled to take on a new challenge with such a well-established builder,” says Ed. Homes by Towne is a private home builder owned by the not-for-profit Zilber and Vera Family Foundation, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Besides California and Nevada, Homes by Towne also builds homes in Arizona, Hawaii, Texas, Florida, and Wisconsin. The founder, Joseph Zilber, believed in providing homes that people are proud to live in and in communities where people want to build memories. Mr. Zilber was known as a generous philanthropist, and even today, Homes by Towne values reflect his commitment to the community.

Ed joined the Chamber as an Ambassador last year, initially to connect with the community, but has already found the experience to be invaluable in creating strong relationships with other active members of Nevada County. Ed believes: “The Chamber is a fantastic support group that provides educational opportunities, networking events, and goes above and beyond to promote its members. Commercial or Non-Profit, the Chamber has resources to help promote each unique organization. We have been so fortunate with the recognition the Chamber has provided us with many volunteers, donors, and supporters, and as our Landlord, since we share offices. ” The Ambassadors are excited to have Ed on our team. To contact Ed and learn more about Homes by Towne stop by his downtown Grass Valley location next to The Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce or by calling 530-446-6955.
