Celebrate mom – and all special women in your life – at this beautiful event.  The famous gardens should be glorious, and docents dressed in vintage costumes will help recreate our gold-mine past, as they portray colorful characters who shaped our history.  Weather permitting, visitors are welcome to enjoy a picnic lunch on the grounds.  Either bring your own food (blankets and chairs) or purchase food and drinks from local vendors.  Children can create little living gifts at the potting bench for moms to treasure.  With live music near the Clubhouse, Empire Cottage and in the mine yard, it’s a memorable day for everyone. The popular Gift Shop will be open with lovely items for all budgets.  Hosted by Empire Mine Park Association (EMPA), everyone’s invited, including well-behaved dogs on leashes.
