This FREE informational meeting will:
• Let the community know what was accomplished under the previous Brownfields Assessment Grants awarded to the City of Grass Valley in 2012 and 2013.
• Bring the public up-to-date on the 2017 round of funding, including project activities, anticipated outcomes, and opportunities for engagement.
• Give stakeholders a chance to weigh in on which sites will be selected for assessment under the 2017 grant.
What is a Brownfields site?
• A Brownfields site is a property with the real or perceived presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant or contaminant which can complicate development
or reuse.
