Free e-book “When Can I Buy a House Again?” by Suzanne Voter, Delta Home Loans

Late last fall, I wrote a blog on the topic of buying a home again after a short sale, bankruptcy or foreclose. Almost a year later, the question of the waiting period continues to be the most common, as homeowners still struggle to survive the ongoing recession. The time was now to write a book to offer both REALTORS® and buyers an informative and resourceful guide to home ownership again.

“When Can I Buy a House Again?” goes beyond the blog to answer all the questions related to applying for a loan including circumstances leading to the major credit event (short sale, bankruptcy and foreclosure) and the key credit areas to improve. Additionally, it talks about the four major loan programs that are available with low down payment and even zero down. While the typical wait period is three years, the book also details how a buyer with extenuating circumstances can get into a home sooner.

Preparing to buy again is key, and the book offers a practical timeline for getting you ready. The three important steps are: • Document everything that caused the event to happen. • Stay on top of the timing and process of the event. • Start today to rebuild credit.

While “When Can I Buy a House Again?” offers relevant information and answers, it also offers hope. A bankruptcy, foreclosure or short sale won’t keep you from buying a primary residence. It’s just a matter of understanding the process. Did I mention that the book is free (for now)? Plus it’s only one click away (no shipping or handling fees!):Sign up today to receive your free copy at http://yourmortgagewiz.com. We’re here to help.

Women of Worth to give away a 1959 Nash Metropolitan Convertible

Women of Worth, a non-profit organization that assists families in crisis and domestic violence victims, is holding a benefit drawing and will give away a 1959 Nash Metropolitan convertible to raise money. The Nash Metropolitan was one of the first compact economy cars sold through American car dealerships. They were built in England from 1954 to 1962 and sold through Hudson dealers. Many of the parts are common with MGA and other British cars of that era, and there are several suppliers that specialize in securing and selling these parts. This Nash Metropolitan is a rare, head-turning convertible
jewel recently painted, interior, speedometer and brakes, and has had its engine and clutch rebuilt.

Women of Worth will sell no more than 777 tickets, and 100% of proceeds will go directly to the organization. Tickets are $20 each or three for $50, and can be purchased at:

• Women of Worth office, 143F Spring Hill Drive, Grass Valley

This year’s concert will premiere at its ‘new home’on the historic site of the 1906 North Star House designed by Julia Morgan.  Mavis Staples is a four-time Grammy Nomineed, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Rolling Stone’s Greatest 100 Singers of All Time.

Gold Country Hiking & Adventures

Gold Country Hiking & Adventures launches Winery Tours to the boutique wineries located in Western Nevada County, California. Each vineyard and winery offers a unique story, style, history, and wine selection. Winery tours are a fun and interesting way to experience another side of the Sierras, while meeting new people, exploring the beautiful countryside – best of all, learning about and tasting new wines.

With the growing interest in wines and the expansion of wine tasting in the area, Melony Vance, founder of Gold Country Hiking & Adventures felt there was a void that needed to be filled. Vance offered, “We are located in this lovely part of the world, have a healthy tourist base, and wonderful wineries tucked away in the foothills, yet no one was offering tours. We’re not as sophisticated as Napa – and that’s a good thing – yet we have vineyard settings that are amazingly beautiful, though not easy to get to. Each vintner has an interesting story, and a passion for what they do. I’d like to share that with people. And, taking a guided tour is a logical idea for wine tasting – no one should be drinking and driving.” She added, “What’s more fun than wine tasting? You can’t beat the serene setting of a vineyard and you get to sample new wines.” Vance also mentioned that “unlike Napa/Sonoma, when you tour a winery here, you actually get to meet the people who make the wines.”

For more information, contact Melony Vance at 530-478-1586, by email at [email protected] or on the web at  www.goldcountrywinerytours.com

Wilfried Wietstock Photographer

Just like in the gold rush days or 1849 when California captured the world’s attention as GOLD was discovered in “them dar hills”, GOOGLE is investigating to bring bits of nuggets to the Gold Country in the form of SUPER HIGH SPEED internet service (via fiber optics).

Robin Milam of WSI Marketing and Wilfried Wietstock, professional photographer, recognize GOOGLE’s googling insight to look to the outskirts, geographically speaking, of the Sierra Nevada Foothills, namely Nevada City and Grass Valley. Also known as the Cultural Center of Northern California, Western Nevada County’s per capita percentage of artisans and high tech firms is greater than that of Carmel, CA.

Early in his life Wilfried recognized the potential of the Gold Country. In 1966 he invested in his property and in 1982 he became a permanent resident. Wilfried’s photographic career is spanning more than 45 years. Small and giant companies alike were his clients. Annual reports and ad campaigns were his staple diet. His ability to communicate through his images made Wilfried famous, not to the world but to his clients. He always delivered.

Google Wilfried Wietstock Photographer or link directly to www.wilfriedwietstockphotographer.com and give him a buzz at 530-346-2157 for an appointment on his premises.
