The Nevada County Economic Resources Council (NCERC) received notice from the U.S. Economic Development Administration it has been awarded a $500,000 grant from the Science and Research Park initiative to pursue feasibility of establishing an American Digital Media Leadership Campus in Nevada County. There are 8 different major work scope elements, including the one described below.
The ERC envisions the American Digital Media Leadership Campus becoming a Global Center of Excellence in Digital Media technology development and content production. As such, numerous industry trade organizations; angel investors, venture capitalists and private equity funds; Digital Arts and Digital media industry executives and major corporations who play in the space; innovative start-up companies; public and private universities; media representatives; State, Federal and International Governments; and many other constituencies interests play an integral success in the wide-spread, global economic development opportunity associated with ADMLC.
At this time NCERC is soliciting proposals to complete the services listed in the Scope of Work section of this Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify, map, and engage key domestic and global stakeholder entities and individuals for the purposes of establishing informal or formal partnerships and further to establish a Global Center of Excellence Advisory Board for the American Digital Media Leadership Campus. Its highly likely some form or fashion of ADMLC will be a public/private partnership, so to the extent responders have relationships or worked on projects that linked major corporations, investors, educational institutions, etc. with government is also of interest.
Please let me know if you are interested in receiving a copy of the RFP or alert me to someone whom you believe has the expertise for such an assignment via email to Jon Gregory or send me a LinkedIn message.
